Welcome to the Institute of Tea Science, College of Horticulture, Nanjing Agricultural University!

Currently, the department has 6 faculties and staffs, including 2 Professors, 3 Associate professors and 2 Doctor supervisors. Concerning of the academy and scientific research, 5 research domains of ‘biotechnology and resources of tea plant’, ‘chemistry and processing of tea’, ‘physiology and ecology of tea plant’, ‘resources of beverage plant’, ‘industry and tea economy and culture of tea’ can be concluded.
The Institute of Tea Science has been recognized with 6 awards from the central and local province government, and 5 books were edited.
Many works have been done in Jiangsu Province, such as ‘National Tea Industry Technology System’, ‘Tea Science and Technology to farmers’, ‘Hundred Professors promoting villages’, ‘Construction of the standard of tea garden’, ‘Agricultural science and technology to supermarkets’, ‘Support poor areas using technology’, ‘Government advisory’, and ‘Technological and cultural training’. These works had obtained high recognition and praise of the society.
The Institute of Tea Science enrolls students from home and abroad for master/doctor degree, post-doctoral research program and international students, and welcomes all the domestic and oversea friends to visit for academy, research and cooperation.
